Lattica’s web app is the same code as the desktop app — but the desktop app gives you global shortcuts, native notifications, and quick capture from anywhere on your machine.
Download
Grab the right build for your platform:
- macOS — Apple Silicon and Intel universal build, signed and notarized.
- Windows — 10 and 11, x64 and ARM64.
- Linux — AppImage, Snap, and .deb for Ubuntu/Debian.
If you manage devices through Jamf, Intune, or Munki, the silent-install packages and configuration profiles are documented separately in the IT deployment guide.
Open the app and click Sign in with browser. Lattica opens your default browser, logs you in there, and bounces back to the desktop app with a session token. If your workspace requires SSO, the same flow respects it.
Quick capture
The single most-used desktop feature. Press the global shortcut and a small input opens above your active window — type a task, hit return, and Lattica creates it in your default project. Default shortcuts:
- macOS —
⌃ Space - Windows / Linux —
Ctrl + Alt + Space
You can rebind these in Settings → Shortcuts.
Updates
The app auto-updates in the background and applies the new version on next launch. To force an immediate update, choose Lattica → Check for updates.
Notifications
Native OS notifications are off by default to keep things calm. Turn them on per-project, or per-event-type, in Settings → Notifications.
