Same tasks, four different lenses. Switching views is one click — and your team can each prefer a different view of the same project without conflict.
List view
The default. Tasks are rows; columns are fields. Click any column header to sort. Drag the divider to resize. Right-click a column to hide it or add another. Bulk-select with shift-click.
Best for: triage, planning, anything where you want to see a lot of tasks at once and edit fields inline.
Board view
Kanban. Columns are statuses (or any other single-select field — assignee, priority, custom field). Drag cards between columns to change their value. Multi-select supported.
Best for: work-in-progress visualization, daily standups, anything with a clear flow from left to right.
Timeline view
Gantt-style. Tasks are bars on a horizontal time axis, grouped by section, owner, or any single-select field. Dependencies render as arrows between bars; the critical path highlights in red.
Drag a bar’s edge to change start or end date. Drag the middle to reschedule. Hold shift while dragging to move a task and all its dependents together.
Best for: project-level planning, deadline-sensitive work, anything where order and duration matter.
Calendar view
Tasks rendered on a month or week grid by their due date (or due-date range). Click an empty day to create a task there. Drag a task to a new day to reschedule.
Best for: personal planning, short-window scheduling, content calendars, hiring pipelines.
Saving a view
Any combination of view type + filter + sort + grouping can be saved as a named view. Views → Save as new view, give it a name, choose Personal or Shared. Shared views appear in the project sidebar for everyone with access.
Common shared views worth setting up: My open tasks this week, Overdue, Blocked by me, Ready for review.
